KUB’ART Gallery founder Yann KWETE is on a mission to put Congolese contemprorary arts on the map. The director reflects on the situation of the country rich potential to expand its cultural and artistic influence within the contemporary scene at the same scale Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Morocco and more have been over the past years. Though facing domestic and structural challenges, Yann KWETE is positive : the Congo has and will play a key role in the next years pointing the urge to collaborate, support each others and develop educational programs to prosper. Interview.
